I've noticed that the search rate in Monitoring tend to drop down to 0/s just after switching an alias to point to a newly created index. Do anybody know if this is a known "bug/feature" in Monitoring or something that should be investigated further - e.g. that our cluster struggles during the initialization of the replicas.
See the screenshot, at around 10:51 indexing is done and the new index is being distributed to replica shards before we toggle the alias. There are several other indices running on the same cluster that is not related to the index switch.
