Snapshot backup into out of cluster

Hello,

I have a cluster and tested backup/snapshot to target indices store in the cluster. I also found “read-only” url set up, so backup data can be accessed from out of the cluster.

Is it possible to set repository with a separate disk-storage which located out of the cluster?

Please advise. Thank you!
