Whats default username and password to Elasticsearch on Ubuntu 16.04?
Ive apt-ed, started deamon, and want to edit elasticsearch.yml but there is nowhere to be set.
What version are you on.
I've hidden that last post of yours, please don't use swearing in future.
You've provided the OS version, but not what version of Elasticsearch you are using.

OK from now on no swearing on my end 
Just call your cluster (or a node) on :9200/, it'll mention it there.
No access to frontend/backend. Sorry
