Static Kibana Dashboard URLs

Hi all,

We have integrated a Kibana dashboard into a web app using and IFrame which works fine.

However I have found an issue that if for example I edit or delete a visualisation from that dashboard the URL changes, which means we have to go back and edit the the URL in the IFrame.

My question is, is there a way to give the dashboard URL a static name to prevent the URL changing each time an edit is made?

Yes, share the dashboard as the saved object to avoid putting any state in the URL

My options look different, probably due to version in use. However is this the same as the options on the right side of my screen capture below?

yes. Use the share saved dashboard option.

So the options on the left side not the Share Snapshot options?

I think that is what we used and if I delete a visualisation and re-save the dashboard I think the URL changes?
