String evolution through time

Hi,

I was wondering if you guys know of any way to make such a visualization in Kibana. The idea is to visualize, through time (x-axis), a bunch of series (y-axis, based on a "name" field). For each of them, we visualize the same field "value", which is a string, and see how it has evolved.

What about a heat map, with a terms aggregation on the Y and then a date histogram on the X?

I'll have a look, but I'm not sure how to show an history and not a count of something for given periods of time.

(Sorry, it was just a way of speaking, no gender assumption there )
