Unable to delete dashboard imported using Import API

Hi,
I used export API to export dashboard to export Kibana Dashboard. Then using Import API I imported same dashboard with a different name. But I am not able to delete the dashboard that I have created using import API.

Hello Ankit,

I just want to make sure I understand this correctly:

  1. You exported the dashboard
  2. You then imported that dashboard but changed its name
  3. You are now unable to delete the new dashboard with a different name

Is this correct? Also, what version of Kibana are you using?

Aaron. That is correct.

Which version of Kibana are you using?

Kibana version is 6.4.2

If I create a dashboard manually in Kibana I am able to delete it. But If I import dashboard using import api I am able to edit it but not able to delete it.

Aaron,
One more thing, every time I import a dashboard I have to resize all the visualizations in the dashboard. Visualizations are not imported with original size in the source dashboard.
