I'd like to upgrade from Kibana 4.0 to Kibana 4.1
I'm doing this so that I can then export/import my dashboards to another instance. I can't seem to find any instructions on how to perform this upgrade. Can someone help ?

It's Pretty easy really, make a copy of your current config file. this should be located at ..//config/kibana.yml, delete the kibana directory, download the kibana 4.1 zip file and unzip into the same location as the previous kibana directory(rename base directories as needed). Replace the new kibana.yml file with the copied file from your previous installation. Make sure that you have elastic search 1.4.4 or greater.
Thanks Adam, that does look easy. I'm running ElasticSearch 1.5.2, so I'll give this a try right away. (after taking a snapshot of course

Adam, your solution worked great. I've got Kibana 4.1.2 running now. Thanks for the quick help.
