Here is a PR to fix the issue in the 7.5 branch: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/pull/57382 I don't think we are planning to do any more release for the 7.5 branch, if we do, that fix will get picked up.

I double checked 7.6 to ensure everything will work there as expected. I would recommend upgrading to 7.6 (which was released today).
