Visualization - Control Multiselect

I am creating a visualization Control.

I select an index pattern.
I select a field.

This created a control box where i can select from a selection of fields.

However from the 5 populated fields, A, B, C, D , & E. i dont want E.

If there a way to filter this out of the dropdown?

You can't restrict manually which options to show, but you can turn off "dynamic options" setting

It will limit the number of options based on count. Perhaps that's sufficient? If not, I would log a feature request in the Kibana repo https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new
