Watcher or Alerting?

Hi all.
I heard that Watcher will be discontinued in the future. Is that right? Watcher at the moment is the only way (and not easy I must say) to integrate Atlassian OPSGenie alerting management with Elastic but it is working for me.
With alerting there is no way to have a webhook with OPSGenie that works (as they said).
So because of that I'd like to know if watcher will still be available or not?
