Hi Elastic team,
Watches index is missing all of a sudden and unable to locate all the previously located watches. After the cluster restart i can see the .watches index combing back but i can only find the ES monitored watches. Any reasons around it for missing and is there a way to get back those custom watches? Looks like there is no enough documentation this kind of issue. Please advice on this. Thanks
It won't just go missing by itself, it must have been deleted.
Check your Elasticsearch logs to see if there was a delete request made for the index.
Curator deleted the .watches index accidentally and i restored from the snapshot backup. Thanks.
