A filter does not work in Controls visualization

I'm working on to make an options list in Controls with a filtered index by adding the filter at the upper left so that I can hide some selections.

However the filtered objects are still shown in the list and I found some similar tickets below.

Is there any workaround for this problem?
I just want to hide the options from the list of Controls...

what version of the stack are you on? Could you please explain your scenario more

I'm using Elasticsearch and Kibana version 7.6.1.
