Add external links to graphs in Kibana

Is there a way in Kibana to add external links to graphs in the visualization tab or the dashboard?

For example, if I click on a bar graph, it needs to take me to an external link associated with parameters on that particular bar. It is even fine if I can have some kind of text box with the URL somewhere on the graph itself.

You can use a markdown box, or maybe use a field formatter to create a parameterised URL.

Markdown is letting me give a generic link to the URL on top of the dashboard, half serves my purpose. Is it somehow possible to edit the data displayed on hovering over the graph, so that I can put in my link there? For now, data is displayed on hovering only if that field is present in the graph. That again is not clickable. Is there any other way out?
