Applying datetime filters

Hi

I have attached kibanas dashboard as iframe. It shows an option to apply any filter given as es query.I want to see the data between two dates. But even after applying filter the range displayed sometimes remains the same and sometimes displays nothing. I also tried to apply filter gte filter on another numeric term. Then it worked fine. Is it because the date format I used was wrong. This is the date format i used 2018-06-01T13:20:00

We have a bug on filters on 6.x and is expected to get fixed on 6.4.0. https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/16595
