As per the Lab Instructions, I have visited https://www.elastic.co/cloud/elasticsearch-service/signup , given my email address (which matches the email address used in this course), and clicked the "Start free trial" button.
The button changes to say "Please Wait" and nothing else happens.

I did get a "Welcome to your free trial" email 5 hours later. So I'll have another look at this after the holidays.
