Is there any other type of visualization that could do quite the same job as control visualiztion's drop down?

Can you clarify what you are looking for? What's wrong with the input control vis?

Hi,

Thank you for the prompt response.
We need a visualization in order to filter our data.
We have some problems with control visualization (below ticket has been opened for that)
Control visualization issue in Dashboard - Elastic Stack / Kibana - Discuss the Elastic Stack

In control visualizations, we have 3 drop downs (each drop down is for another field of our data) with parental relationship between them.

Is there any other type of visualization to have a filtering?

Unfortunately there's no other filtering visualization like this to achieve your goal. I strongly recommend opening an issue in the GH repo like Dzmitry recommended: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/new?template=Bug_report.md
