Copying index from ES 1.1 to ES 6.2.x

I wanted to copy data from ES 1.1 to ES 6.2 . In order to work on ES 6.2.

was wondering what is the best way to bring in the data into ES 6.2 from ES 1.1 ?

suggestions please.

You will need to reindex from the remote cluster.
