Custom 3rd party integration for outgoing connectors

Is there an update about the development of custom alerting connectors?
I saw this question was asked twice in 2021.

Any updates? I´ll also create a GitHub issue.

Just to let you know I haven't got any updates about it.
Also I forgot to create the issue on GH back then so it hasn't been tracked down.
