Does elasticsearch-2 is compatible on upgrading kibana from version 4.5 to 5.x or 6.x

We are planning to upgrade kibana from version 2.3.3 to version 5 or 6
Below is existing version stack, anyone help whether only kibana up-gradation is compatible or not.

Logstash
Version:-2.3.3

Elasticsearch
Version:-2.3.2

Kibana
Version:-4.5.0-linux-x64

It looks like upgrade from 2.x to 5.x is supported, but not 2.x to 6.x. See:

Can please do more it clear as...

I was meant ES should be as on version 2 , but only kibana needs to upgrade , so kibana 5.x is compatible with that old version of ES2.x or not
