Editable field on dashboard

is there a way to add a editable field on my data visualization?

Hello Giorgio,

It depends on what you mean by "editable". If you mean modifiable for an interactive dashboard, then you might be interested in input controls. If you mean editing Elasticsearch indexed docs, you could use dev tools for that purpose. If you wanted to modify docs via a visualization, it might be possible through painless scripting.

i would like to have an editable field on the index that can be edited through a visualization displayed on kibana.

For example in the following view I would like to be able to edit the rulename or host name field.
