Elasticsearch upgrade

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade the ELK stack of the below versions to 8.4.3.
Elasticsearch: 7.5.1
Kibana : 6.7.2
Logstash : 6.8.12

Questions:

  1. What should be the order of Upgrade? (Should I upgrade elasticsearch first and then Kibana and Logstash?)

I would upgrade Kibana to be the same version as Elasticsearch to start with, I am not sure why you are running such larger versions.

If that works, upgrade Logstash to the same version as well. Then you should be able to upgrade all of them to 8.X and start with Elasticsearch.
