Have kibana display nothing until a field is selected

Hello,

Is it possible to have a Kibana dashboard display no information in its graphs/tables until the user selects one or more fields (in this case a device name) ?

Hi,

This is not possible in Kibana as when you save visualizations they usually have data in them, hence the default state of the dashboard containing those visualizations.
