How to bring back a data node to a cluster

Hello,

I have had one of my data nodes being down for a while. (Couple of hours)
Cluster itself has recovered from the downtime. What is the best way to bring the node back up without having to trigger any allocation or re-assignments.

You won't be able to do that, because when the node rejoins the cluster will try to balance the existing shards to that new node.

There isn't really any. Let ES do what it does.
