How to Disable edit button when you share the dashboard URL

I tried sharing URL of kibana dashboard with other people they are able to access the dashboard,but i want to disable edit button

Hi,

what about this ?

  • create a new read only user:
    Management Security -> Users

  • create a new role, for example: read_only
    Management Security -> Roles

  • add newly created user to mentioned role

  • allow to access all used indexes in " Index Privileges"

  • set read privileges in "Privileges " : read, index
