How to make Permanent data view of custom indexes

Hi Community,

We had created a customer index for one of our requirement and ingesting the data to the custom index. hence, we can see data is ingesting into custom index whenever we are running the script. However, we had created data view in Kibana using custom index but we are getting empty fields for the data view and there is not data.

We had noticed that if any index is contains data stream then we can see the data.

Could any one please suggest what is the problem while using custom index in data view?

Hi @Eshwar_K,

Can you confirm the defined index pattern matches the indices and that there is data for the date range you have specified? It's not clear from the screenshots.

To add to this can you go to developer tools in kibana and do a search against the index and share the results?

POST /automic/_search should do the trick

Can you please show the data view you created for the 2 indices?

As well as the results @strawgate asked for.
