hi, i downloaded the installation file, unzipped it and clicked the elasticsearch.bat file as the instruction showed, but a black window appeared in less than a second and then disappeared and nothing happens. why???
Did you check the log directory for logfile output? Look at the docs to discover where your logs directory is.
