Due to some unavoidable reasons, we are forced to use elasticsearch 2.4.1 and kibana 4.6.1. We want to add security plugin for kibana - shield. Initially, it required license. Is it required if we install shield now, considering they have open-sourced X-Pack?
The code for X-Pack has been opened, but it is not released as open-source, so still require a license.
