we build our log per index per day,and we set a alias on all index,then we set the alias as kibana'index. but we find always timeout and show no result,but other chart run very well,geohash aggregation maybe is expensive?
This is a little vague, are you having issues?
If so what versions are you on? How large is your cluster?
our es is 2.1 kibana 4.3 and our data about 600GB,if i only search in currency day,we can get response,but when i search in all index ,the response is timeout
Checkout the kibana server settings. There are several timeouts in there, and you might need to update them to fit your needs.
Keep in mind that there is currently an issue with timeouts though, so you might have to wait for a bug fix to be released.
