Kibana 5 Map Server - Zoom Override

Hi

We need to be able to zoom into the map at a much lower level and is currently allowed on Kibana 5. I have switched over to our own Map Server (CadCorp Geonosis) which is working fine. However I dont know how to override the zoom limit. Its still set to the default for Kibana. I saw somewhere that something needs to be changed in the kibana.yml, but nothing is sticking out.

Hi Christopher,

You could try increasing this value in the Kibana Advanced Settings;

visualization:tileMap:maxPrecision
The maximum geoHash precision displayed on tile maps: 7 is high, 10 is very high, 12 is the max. 7

When you say you want to zoom into the map at a much lower level, I think that actually means a higher zoom level (zooming in is a higher number).
