HI
we are using centos where we have deployed our ELK 2.4.6 ,recently there is a need to upgrade the ELK to 7.3.0
but when i have downloaded kibana-7.3.0-1.x86_64.rpm , there is one command which was failing ,after debugging got to know that /opt/kibana folder is not there in 7.3 rpm while in old version ..it had all the things, example: config folder ,installedPlugins,NodeModules etc
now I need the same things..how can i get it
It's not clear from your question, but in order to upgrade from such an old version, you need to do progressive upgrades: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/kibana/current/upgrade.html
In other words, you'll probably need to go from 2.x to 3.x, then from 3.x to 4.x, etc.
OK
Just in simple sentence ...I am not able to find a config folder in kibana-7.3.0-1.x86_64.rpm , where we can place our configuration file
OK
I got it
