Kibana login for new users failing

Hello,

Can anyone explain what exactly happens in the following situation:

Unless we sign in using elastic: ' built-in user ' and change password for new users who are created on kibana are not able to login and receive error as "oops! error. Try again "

@aditi_salunke is this a recent issue you're seeing after something changed in your stack (e.g. upgrade, enabling a plugin etc)?
It would help to know what version of the stack we're seeing this behavior on to narrow down the possible reasons new users can't log in to Kibana.
Have new users been assigned specific roles and do they have access to kibana as part of their role?
Setting up users and roles can be a little tricky but Kibana's UIs makes it a little easier to configure. You might want to double check that everything's set up as recommended

@cheiligers there were no changes done in the stack which is running on an updated version.

The login was failing for even users who are assigned with the superuser role.

Every user was able to log in once I logged in using elastic pre-built user and changed their passwords.

Um, interesting. It could be a number of product changes between versions. What version did you upgrade from and to?
