Kibana slows down after X-Pack security installation

Hello,

after installing x-pack for security the performance of Kibana slowed down significantly. I cannot even create a new index pattern because of time outs.

I have seen a similar issue here
but there is no conclusion as to whether that has a solution.

Is that a configuration issue or an inherent drawback of the stack?

Hi @chena,

Looks like that thread is quite old, could you please provide more details about your configuration. You inform about timeouts we need some additional information about it (logs, exception stack trace something to work with).

thanks for the reply. I have replicated the issue today and I have linked to the log file after we reactivated security at around 11:03.
