Metricbeat dashboard with negative values

Help me please deal with the graphs on the dashboard - [Metricbeat System] Host overview
Why are there negative values on the graphs? And what do they mean?
And how can there be more than 100 percent CPU Usage?

  1. Negative values are not actually negative. It's just a way to display reads/writes in the same diagram. If we think reads are positives then writes are negatives. The actual values are not negative.

  2. CPU Usage can be more than 100% because here the metric we are using is not normalized per core. If you want to check the normalized cpu utilization, please check metric cpu.total.norm.pct instead of cpu.total.pct .
