Minimum license purchase requirement for Elastic Stack

Hi,
I'm looking for clarification on Elastic's license purchasing requirements. Specifically, is there a minimum number of licenses that must be purchased? For example, can I purchase just 1 or 2 licenses, or is there a requirement to buy at least 3?

If there’s any official documentation regarding this, could someone please direct me to it?

If I purchase 2 licenses and want to add a third node to avoid split brain by using a tiebreaker, would the tiebreaker require a license as well, or can it be added without one?

That is also a commercial question so I will refer to Sales at Elastic again.

Each node from the cluster will be considered. So yes, for a 3 nodes cluster, you will need at least a 3 nodes cluster license.
I don't know what is the minimal size and like @Christian_Dahlqvist said, you need to contact the sales team.

Note that also enterprise level license and lower level licenses are not computed the same way. Enterprise is per 64gb of RAM if I recall correctly. But again, check with your sales contact.
