Missing panels on coordinate map

Hi,

We've a Coordinate Map, which is configured to show locations of events by using a field mapped to a geo_point object in Elasticsearch. We frequently see maps only partially loading, however, as per the screen shot example below. The missing panels will usually load if you zoom out and then back in.

This happens whether there are geo_point actually on the area or not.

Is there some sort of tuning that needs to be applied to force all panels to load?

• Elastic Stack 6.4
• 16GB RAM
• 4 CPUs
• CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)

Is there anything in your browser console/dev tools that might indicate what happened?

Not really - the missing panels are flagged as red but don't have any response information. This screen shot shows four missing panels - the top one is highlighted.

If I click the information for the panel immediately below the red lines, you can see it comes back with a 200 OK.
