Could someone recommend an open source software for basic and role-managed access / authentication to Kibana and ElasticSearch?

Since X-pack is paid after 30-days trial version is used, so we are looking to find an alternative or an open-source / free solution for this.

I don't know if any open-source solutions to recommend, but if you happen to be using the Elastic Stack for a non-profit or educational project there's a chance you could get a free license, or greatly discounted license, or free or discounted Elastic Cloud service.
If you think you might qualify for that please let me know and I'll find the right place for you to get more information on that.
