Our elastic search environment is managed by redhat satellite server and it works well for all elastic products expect X-Pack. It's because the satellite package sync is not supported for zip file.

Is there a different package other than zip is available for X-Pack?

No, plugins are only available as a zip.
The good news is that from Elasticsearch 6.3 you will be able to get ES with X-Pack pre-installed as part of the RPM.

I'm afraid we don't publish release dates in advance, however if you look at the release dates of previous releases it should give you a rough idea of the frequency of our releases.

That said, we're making big changes as part of 6.3, so it will probably take a bit longer than our normal release cycle.
