Problem with URL field

Hi all,

Currently I have a "log" field which is pointed to a Windows file share. However, when I try to change the format of "log" to URL, it seems to add https://... before my file share and changed all backslash into slash.

Is there anyway I can solve this?

Which version of Kibana are you using an could you care an example of this log field?

Hi Matthias,

I think it's 7.3.1, one example of this log field is

\\klmsdn42.xyz.com\save\cdmetjob\PF039425_3515_.xml

and if i use URL directly then it opens

https://elk.klm.xyz.comundefined/app///klmsdn42.xyz.com/save/cdmetjob/PF039425_3515_.xml

I see, and you want to link to http://klmsdn42.xyz.co/save/cdmetjob/PF039425_3515_.xml, or to a local file?

I want to link to \\klmsdn42.xyz.com\save\cdmetjob\PF039425_3515_.xml, which is a file share actually.
