Request Timeout after 3000ms

Hi Guys

first of all please be gentel with me as i am super newbie with kibana and elastic search.
we have windows machines that have winlogbeat installed and configured to send logs to my kibana server installed on ubuntu. everything worked fine untill one day i got " Request Timeout after 3000ms" and "Elasticsearch plugin is red" i dont have a clue how to start troubleshooting this, can you please help?

Hi @Guy_T,

that indicates that your Kibana server can not communicate with Elasticsearch. Could you check the value of elasticsearch.url in your kibana.yml and verify that it is correct?

thanks for answering. i increase the 2gb memory limit in java and now everything seems to work OK
