Securing the hosted version of Elastic

Hello,

Since I am very new to Elastic I would like to know the following:

I am working on a test environment where we have a virtual machine with the latest version of Logstash installed.
Elasticsearch and Kibana are hosted in the Elastic cloud, with a monthly subscription.

I would like to know which are the steps to take to start with Security (former Shield) for securing the logs that are sent from Logstash.

I read the documentation about starting with Security, but how do I enable it on our cloud instance?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Judy

Security is enabled by default in the Cloud service. So you need to setup a user and then add that to LS.
