G'Day @discourse, I had a few questions about tagging, which we want to enable, and how it works with tracking. I found this older thread which explains some of it, but I was wondering if you can track a specific tag in a single category?
eg can our ML team only track things from #x-pack with an ML tag, or does tracking that tag apply to any ML tag across all categories.
Tags are tracked globally, it's not currently possible to track tags only
in a specific category. You can filter a category to see only topics with a
certain tag, but that's not what you're asking.

We were definitely after filtering on categories for email notifications, but that's still pretty handy 
One last thing, can we get this added as a feature request please
