Terminate user session based on time period

Can Elasticsearch be configured to terminate and log out privileged users after a set period? If so, is it documented anywhere?

You log in on Kibana to make requests to Elasticsearch.

You can configure Kibana to expire the sessions after some specific time, this is the documentation.
