Timeline editor tips?

Hello,

I am gradually getting deep into Kibana, timelion charts. One of my frustrating things is the editor, are there some tips/cheatsheets available for the timeline editor. The documentation has all these indents and stuff, but I am unable to do that when I try it out.

Would love some feedback from the community.

I do get Timelion, I just have a tough time editing/composing my query to render a chart. If you have any tips on that, that would be great.
