We changed the ILM of one of the index from 10days to 7days, but we can see the Legacy index templates still showing ILM as 10days.
If present ILM of 7days doesn't work, will it consider the older ILM of 10days for legacy templates ?
We also have couples of things to ask,
- What is the difference between the Legacy Index templates and Index templates?
- Do we need to delete the Legacy index template before we run the new template?
