Similar to this issue, I cannot set the suggested script.allowed_types setting. I am using Elastic Cloud and have tried disabling Disable inline/file/stored script and Enabling sandboxed inline/file/stored scripts. None of these options seem to work, as the Cluster Checkup upgrade assistant still complains that various script.* settings are enabled. What is the suggested approach for handling this upgrade?
Given you are using Elastic Cloud, did you try asking the Elastic Support team?
I just got a reply from the support team that I should be good to go as long as I have the default sandbox inline scripts enabled and can ignore the upgrade warning message. I figured since the other threads here did not have a resolution it would be good to ask in a public place for others who may encounter the same thing.
