In Kibana Alerts and Actions there is a SMTP connector however for some reason you can't add a SMTP to Uptime?
What level license do you have? Email (SMTP) is a subscription feature.
It should be there like any other connector. If not can you provide versions and from which screen you are trying to create the alert from?
oh ok - yeah I think this install is on basic edition..
