Can I provide access to the user to change his password?

Hi Experts,

I have installed ES shield and Shield for kibana for testing purpose. Is it possible that user can change his password of it's own from kibana browser itself. I know this is something which is not available in kiaban , but any alternative to this would be really appreciated .

This feature is something which most of the tools provides , like change password on first logon etc.

Starting with version 5.0, users can change their password via the API and in the Kibana UI.

another quick question , so do I need x-pack security plugin for all this or just shield will work ?
