I am upgrading the Eleasticsearch version from 1.5.0 to 2.1.1 While installing plugin i am getting below message 'CONF_FILE setting is no longer supported. elasticsearch.yml must be placed in the config directory and cannot be renamed.' Kindly help me in solving this issue.

Hi!
Same thing happened to me.

For me the solution was to go to
/etc/sysconfig
folder and comment out the line which had CONF_FILE in it.
