Fleet output settings

While debugging my self managed fleet server I came accross this discussion:

This discussion mentions the is_default_monitoring amongst xpack.fleet.outputs parameters but I see no other mention of it in the documentation.

Is it still valid? What does it do exactly?
I am using 8.5 version

Apparently, is_default_monitoring is not documented in Fleet settings in Kibana | Kibana Guide [8.5] | Elastic

Sounds like a documentation issue IMO.
