I have tried to print a PDF report of one of my dashboards but all I keep getting is an error. Max Attempts Reached (3). Queue Timeout. Sometimes, it also pops up **Error Protocol (Page.captureScreenshot: Target closed). **
Can you please help me? Here are some questions that I am asking:
Have I got too much data in the dashboard?
Do I need to increase max attempts and xpack.reporting.queue.timeout?
What data do I need to include to allow it to be printable?
Could you please provide some information about the environment running the Kibana instance? If you can share the platform and operating system with a number of CPUs and available RAM, that would be very helpful.
Have I got too much data in the dashboard?
That is most likely the cause of the problem. There is also a known issue when the dashboard contains Maps, and the system is running on low memory.
Do I need to increase max attempts and xpack.reporting.queue.timeout?
There is very little chance that it helps. It is better to play around with the capture timeouts.
What data do I need to include to allow it to be printable?
I would suggest going in the opposite direction. You could clone your dashboard and try to remove panels one by one until it succeeds. Try to start with the maps if you have any.
